I Belong to You
A poetic collaboration with Damien and T. Vale
Damien and T. Vale on the love of their lives
Damien: Moon Goddess Luna (first) T. Vale: Mother Goddess of Divine Waters Danu (second)
The radiant burn of the sun gives way to the gentle glow of a lunar display, an alteration made in the way I see you, my love, your curvaceous features accentuated by the rays which escape the edges of your silhouette, you are my Luna, my goddess of night, the embodiment of the pull, the tidal flow which lulls, your voluptuous essence encompasses my presence, the heavens fall at the altar to worship my fertile deity, I kneel to your purpose longing for the moment when day calls to night and light fades to shade in the beams of your illumination my Goddess, Luna, I belong to you.
Dry and cracked and barren Untouched and untended This land is a waste, they said And will never be fruitful again, If it ever truly was thus. Scirocco cruelly tore at it, Dismantling it grain by grain, But you, My fair Danu, Life-giver who runs and flows, Restoring Goddess, both wise and beautiful in equal measure, Did pour out your elixir Alluvial, Healing, Making what was desolate, Spring forth once more. Your rain awoke what once slept, Allowing it to grow and soften and bloom. Constant and deep and overflowing waters, Giving me your soft mist, Blanketing my now green hills. Oh, My Goddess Danu, Who made me anew, Forever, I belong to you.

This feels so safe. I don’t know how to describe it. It feels like men being men, letting women be women in the best version of what that means…
Does that make sense? 💋
Woooooooow ☺️ made me emotional that poetry can convey love and love creates poetry. And the masculinity of you two incredible humans to hold space for the feminine, that the world so badly needs right now. Feminine and masculine in balance. Witnessed and embodied! 🙌🏻 I bow down, both. Of course I’m not holding back in how much I love it. Why would I!
